older intimidators. theres one on here i really want for 150. you can get aliases and vices too for like 350 sometimes. you cant really go wrong on the intimidators, but right in the middle, leaning towards older is where i think they are great for the price
but basically, what isnt? for all reasons.
bob long makes a bad gun, the one that i use when im havin mad fun.
id go for any bob long before an ion any day. thats me.

its an intimidator. it varys. i see intimidators for 150 to 500. they are basically the same, but it may be some sort of a special look or whatever. dont try to be choosey with the intimidators, there is way to many only differing really in looks. dont be that picky.

An A-bomb will likely fetch $300 or more. Expect to pay $400 for a nice one. The real problem when you are hunting around for intimidators is that if you want a certain model-say an A-bomb, Ripper or a Russian Legion-they are a little bit difficult to find for sale.
Nice Gen 3 intimidators will be in the $250-$350 range depending on rarity and the number of upgrades. The Gen 4 timmys will overlap this price ranging from $250-$400 depending on rarity and upgrades as well. For a more recent (gen3 or gen4) timmy expect to pay $300.
I'd recommend you give the Protoge a look, it's the Gen 5 intimidator and they are very nice. Much better then the gen4s (which can have issues b/c of the valve they use). Marq 6s may also be around that price now, I haven't checked recently.

what exactly was problematic? ive heard of valve problems but it seems whoever told me was making it out to be not as bad.

Really? I could swear I remember the gen 2 & 3 having the instructions about having to zero your regs and balance everything every time you aired them up.

Not sure about the instructions, I never had manuals. I never did that with any of the gen 2 and 3s. My gen 4 had the balance valve and it was horrible.

Yeah, the balance valve was much maligned. They made it overly complex, and it was far too prone to leaking.

They don't like to seal. Also they can be really hard to balance the regs on without it leaking and can be hard to get shooting properly. I've got a buddy who's been messing with his gen 4 empire and he can't get it to air up without leaking, when it does seal it shoots at over 400fps.

That's about how mine was except I could never get it over 200. When it did shoot though, it was great.
The newer gen 4s (with the newer frame) were supposed to actually work. I never used one though.
