I have a shocktech superfly bolt for a timmy. however, it doesn't fit my striker. I've heard that you can take the pin out of it and replace it with one that fits, but i can't figure out how to take it out of the superfly

To take the pin out you’re going to need to remove the jewel (sticker) from the back of the bolt. Then take a small allen wrench and take the setscrew out and the spring and ball steel ball will slide out. Then remove the pin and replace with a new one or just file the original one down to a tight fit to your ram. Then reinstall and replace the jewel. Oh, and for some comfort in keeping your bolt from blowing up at high rates of fire use a small amount of blue loc tite when putting the setscrew in. I was demonstrating my Timmy on simulation mode to a friend and the guts to the Supa Fly shot right out of the back because that set screw came loose. It was crazy and trying to find that friggin ball was a pain! lol
