The GZ has a regular .45 frame, while the Z has the clamshell.

GZ=Ground Zero timmy, has a normal 45 frame.
Z=Zach long timmy, Has clamshell(the normal frame on timmys).

Both the same speed i believe.

the only difference is the frame and the GZ is a WEEEEEEE lil bit lighter (trust me, its not at all noticable, i am talking maybe a gram cuz of the milled GZ in front of the feed neck).

Sorry to say this but the GZ and the Z Intimidators are the same thing with the exception of the ClamShell trigger frame. When the GZ was dropped by the team Ground Zero, Bob changed the name of the gun to the Z since it was still one of the more popular and inexpensive Timmies to buy. Simple milling and dust anodizing make the Z (formerly GZ) one of the more desired of the older Timmies to this day. With that said, they both will be very similar in performance and will both be good guns on the field.

No, the Z in the Z Timmy does not stand for Zack Long… That is a rumor that started at the Nation and should die with every other Timmy rumor.
