Timmy Like Impy?
I'm sure you have heard it before, but I'm asking because I know NOTHING about Timmy’s, so don’t flame me for this one...
Does a Timmy work just like an Impy? With an air solenoid that directs gas into a ram/hammer assembly, moving the bolt, and striking the valve? If so, why do people buy the, they are a lot of money for something that works just like an Impy that’s half the price. Please try to explain to me the difference between a Timmy and Impy other than the board/body/milling. Thanks.

How is it faster if it operates the same? Is the complete cycle shorter? I just dont see why people buy them, and why they are so popular. Get a milled body on an imp and it will be just as light.

They aren't really faster, put a WAS'd imp next to a timmy, they shoot about the same.
They are popular cuz they are cool looking, light, shoots good.

put an impy with stock board (cricket) up against a timmy with its stock board WAS or Frenzy, depends on model i think, im guessing the timmy would be faster

they are also FAR more reliable from what i've seen. i'v never owned an imp, but the ones i've used and seen used were great, but they require more maintaining and repair.
