Question ram udjusters

well, i wanted to know the reason why timmies need udjustible ram caps, and is it true that some ram caps loosen or come out while shooting? what is the best one? 0?

the reason you need one is to push your bolt as far forward as it can go without interfering with the ball dropping into place. this will allow faster cycle rates because of the ram not having to move as much.
i have the hybrid rap cap it works great but sometimes it will loosen up. just one of those things you have to keep an eye on. i think the RMR cap has a set screw that once in place you can lock it down.

You don't need a ram cap for an Alias, or any 2k4 timmy.

if you get an alias you will need a new ram cap just not for a long time because the plasic ram cap will evetully wear down.
