Reg and macroline connection question??
Hey guys,
Old Fart needs help! 
I looked at some pix in the Bob Long Pix thread and have, what may be a stupid question. I see that some of the marker macroline connections are at the back side of reg. ( facing the trigger) I attempted to change the location by switching the set screw on reg with the macroline elbow connector but I had a leak no matter how tight the set screw was. I also noticed that the inside of where the set screw was was blocked, the otherside was not. I can acually see the valve. Is there a way to do this iside the reg? 0?

Just put some extra o-rings on the reg so that when you have it screwed all the way in, the macro is facing back.

the only problem w/ that is since there isn't as many threads holding the reg, it will be more fragile in diving situations, but i doubt you dive enough to make good of this info... lol

the reason one side is "blocked" off is because thats a gauge port not a feed port make sure you put the fitting on the side thats open and use some loc-tite to seal everything up.

Thanks! As far as diving, I probably dive more than you. Remember, I'm OLD so I trip a lot... LOL
