rmr lockdown scraper
with the rmr lockdown ram cap... wont the set screws dig or scrape into the paint or milling and make it look really worn?

yes there will be a small scratch where the screw hits. but its not like the ram cap moves so once its set its set.

would you recomend just gettin a reguler cap? how much does a regular adjustible ram cap come out cuz i dont want that happening at all.

i have the Hybrid cap right now. it comes out quite often. the RMR will not move once its set and locked in place. i would recomend the RMR over any i have seen.

id rather put locktight on a reguler one then jab screws in the gun, even if you'll never see it after youve set it

naa..... the ram could get messed and then ur dead..... just use the lock down, its fine. the only time u see the small little scratch is whn ur cleanin the gun..... it dosnt matter

exactly. if you use locktite on one like the hybrid with nothing to grip to take it out, you will scratch it all up removing it to clean the ram. i mean if you are going to get a $1000+ marker and worry about it getting a little scratch then save your money, cause you will never play very hard with it.

ok, cuz some guy at the field is thinkin bout the naughty dog and hes like this obsesive compulsive guy who hates imperfections. he didnt get the fly cuz of a rumer, he didnt get the nexus cuz of the little gel circles that spell n e x u s on the side, and now hes worryed about dents in his timmy.

ya, detents are a prob somtimes with halos, but all u gotta do is buy spyder detents, they are super hard.

he can always get a ram cap with out the lock down screw, or better yet, just not use the one on the ND....

Sorry man but not even a three-legged circus midget would have thought that was funny…
Anyway, I have recently put the RMR cap on my Empire Timmy and love it. I was using the latest Hybrid version and liked it too but the RMR never comes out and who gives a shiznit about a couple dents. Tell him to get over it and dive into a few bunkers with his pretty gat. After that he should have no problems with it… ;-)

The only thing that will happen is there is a small mark on the RAM SLEEVE, not the body, where the ram cap gets screwed i. and hybrid ram caps suck balls. And you can't just use a stock one, cause that defeats the purpose of a Adj. ram cap, especially if the Stock cap doesn't push the bolt forward far enough. And if he's worred about scrathing his gun,. Bubble wrap it and play Rec ball... Pussy....
