lets say i go on ebay and pick up a classic for around $450 and then i wanna put a clamshell frame on it. how much total is it gonna cost me to get a clamshell and everything i need to install it?
well, you'll need new grips, and im not sure if the trigger will fit but you can get a used clammy trigger off pbn for say 10-20 bucks for a stock to cheaper one, 30ish for the cp roller.
but if you're looking to pick up a classic, i might be selling mine for 400. hit me up on aim or something if you're interested.
so in the long run you're looking at about close to 600. may as well try and pick up a stock 2k2 for that much. but 2k2 would cost about 650-7 maybe.
$130 or so for the clammy itself, then you can transfer everything from your Classics frame into the Clammy, you can even use the same trigger i believe.
www.paintballkingdom.com sells Clammshells. so do alot of other sites, but PBK is FULL of Certified Timmy techs. and they are great guys.

i got a question about the timmy trigger, can you use a stock 2k2 trigger on a classic frame? cause i really dont want to clammy my classic, it would just messs up the color scheme. oh yeah, no thanks on the imp unless it has vizion and vert reg and after market stuff. Bob said himself that the classic shoots better then a 2k2. so what do you think a classic with WAS would be?
Bob said himself that the classic shoots better then a 2k2.
trust me, 2k2s are insanely better then classics. bob was just trying to get rid of old inventory, since no one would buy a classic new if 2k2's were the same price, and had a clammy on them already, and a torpedo.
well you can still practically make the classic just as good as the 2k2 for under 700, all you need to do is clammy it and i picked mine up for 350, so i could do it all for under 500 and i personally like the duallies but my feedneck sucks cause of the previous owner being a dumbass.
