Raider
I just bought me a Brass Eagle Raider kit. I'm just now getting into paintball, and I didn't want to get a real expensive gun for my first 1. My question is can you customize a raider any?

Save up for your next gun. Mabye spyder imagine(not sure of price) or a spyder e99($100). If you want a really nice gun get an Ion(those are like 300 though).

ohhh, you may soon want a new gun.
i have an avenger, i bought it used for my first marker. after every game of pb, i had to strip it and clean it because it chopped a bit.
id suggest using it for a while, have fun with it but you may soon want a 98c
if it has spyder threaded barrels, you can get a new barrel

I suggest upgrading your loader. When you upgrade to a better marker you will already have a better loader, and Having a revie now will keep your marker from chopping. Pretty much all open bolt blowbacks can out shoot a regular gravity feed hopper. And not being easy on paint it will cause chops. Increase the feed rate and you will reduce chops. This is the same with spyders and such, just that for some reason everyone thinks its the marker and not the fact that everyone uses revies on them and non motorized hoppers on thier BE guns.

I found me a electro hopper. I'll give it a shot. It's only like $30.

Yes, there is no mechanical difference in stacked blowbacks to make one chop more then the other. Using good paint, with a good paint to barrel match, and a good hopper you will experience the same amount of chops with any brand marker. Other things you might check if its not the hopper is the ball detent. Make sure its not double feeding.

The thing that I don't like about it is the barrel. It's a CCX composite barrel, but it's made in the gun! I found some paint that it likes to shoot. The scorch paint. I only busted 1 ball out of about 300. I called the people at BE to see if I could change the barrel and that's when they told me it was made in. But it's workin good for me right now.
