gun + no reason = sucks
ok, got me a Viewloader Maxis E/G (and don't tell me to get a new gun, if i want a new gun, I'd ask for opinions on one, this is not that question) my gun is being really retarded, i have to keep the velocity low or else it chops like crazy (and half the time its not the paint) and when my velocity is fine where it doesnt chop, it's totally inacurraate, My VL Orion backup seems to be shooting ALOT more accurate, Help me!

ok its probaly that u r shooting to fast and ur hopper cant keep up also it could just use some oil on the orings on the bolt

$%$&#@ are u people def, i said don't tell me to get a new gun, i spent an entire almost 2 sentences on it.............anyways, thanx Jester, but those are the problems, I have a VL revvy 12V with xboard, so it fast enough, and It chops even on like 2 bps, and all the o-rings we're oiled down.

well, its a VL. what do you expect. you can buy a loader and upgrade the bolt, polish the internals, and get a new barrel....
but at the end of the day its a veiwloader. A used 98 custom or Spyder Imagine will run you 50- 100 bucks and its worth it.
i used to have a VL and once i bought my 98, ive never looked back. Ive had it over a year and have broke paint less than ten times, mostly in the barrel

I'd say get a well known gun, that way if you don't know how to maintenence it, you can have others fix it for you.
Ex: xtra, imagine, tippman, ion

Maybe the bolt is a little too far back and the ball above the breech is partially falling in, getting broken, and then launched out on the next shot?
If you DO want a cheap good gun, the spyder imagine has been proven to be fast, cheap, reliable. But yours should work flawlessly if its not defective. i've seen VL's shoot fast just fine.

I check it out, and i think ur parcially right on that, for some reason, it keeps chopping the ball INSIDE the gun, not barrel, maybe I'm shooting too fast for my revvy (I forgot to turn it on, I'm not claming i can outshoot my revvy)
