I am almost 99.9999999% sure they take spyder threaded barrels. But I wouldn't upgrade it I would play with it until I could afford a better gun. After that just keep it as a back up.

I am sick and tired of the stupidest answer ever: ``just get a another gun`` ``get a spyder or fish```

Anyway we all know that there is better ones out there but this guys is not asking for your opinion on his marker he wants to know what to do to make it better.

Start with a barrel, and use good quality paint. If that doesnt work then a delrin bolt and interns will help, but I doubt youll need this. Also, being a mechanical marker, you want to make sure you make full trigger pulls and do not try and speed it too much. Take your time and aim. I have an avenger as my third back-up and it has come in handy at times. They are OK for learning and somewhat complicated to take appart. Youll learn fast and upgrade sooner or later. Might as well make mistakes on a marker that didnt cost you 4 weeks pay checks.

Peace out
