Eagle Issue
Okay guys, I am trying to fix one of my son's friends Brass Eagle PB guns, Yeah I know he should just get a different gun but the poor kid can't afford it, and he ain't getting one of mine!. I have replaced all of his O rings and made some adjustments but the gun continuously acts as if it is running out of CO2. Meaning it does that rat a tat tat thing (sputtering or whatever, I am not quite sure how to explain but hopefully someone knows what I am talking about) constantly. It will fire afew good shots and then sputter, fire a few then sputter and so on. Any ideas???

make sure the velocity is adjusted high enough
check to be sure the tank has plenty of air
give all the internal parts a light coating of oil

have you tried a diffrent tank. my friends syper did this the other day and we couldn't figure out what was wrong..the tank was full but we we put it on another gun anyways and it did the same thing.....i dont know what was wrong with the tank but it was the problem.

Ouch i have the same problem with my sting ray...Balls explode,Jams,and it of course rat-a-tat-tats...Somebody please reply with a solution i dont have time to buy a new gun and also need to know how to take it apart

now you didnt say which model stingray you have but im gonna guess its probably a stingray 2 if so heres the owners manual http://www.brasseagle.com/images/pdf/1410manual.pdf this will tell you how to dissasemble your marker for cleaning and lubricating.
heres and exploded view of the marker

the guns brass eagle makes are not usually good,and i have heard many problems with them. i would just figurew to save up a few bucks and buy something better,which is really anything depending on whhick gun your son has.
