So that being said I would recommend..
1. Not taking these to actual fields with a few exceptions IE. Rainmaker your going to be outgunned pretty baddly.
2. If your paying 40$s for a fullsetup to play for a few hours which is less than I pay to go play for a day with all my own gear before buying paint, these guns are just fine.
Saying that Brass Eagle guns suck is taking them out of the context of what they're really made to do. I'd say the higher end current line-up of BE guns are not good values, they work, but its actually the cheaper BEs IMO that are decent values for what you can do with them.

Truth.
My friend had an extra Stingray 2, and that's how I got into paintball.

true but gotta admit other better guns are getting cheaper n cheaper in packages. its like what 65 for a Pmi package r5 package? or 50-65 for a Jt 3.5 package?(although Jt if iffy). Before you can say man this gun isnt all that great, its even made out of plastic, but at lease its dirt cheap. Now though for close to the same price you can get a all around gun that'll last from starter up to even decent rec-ball use. Back then I wouldnt say it but now i can seriously believe compared now to what you can get for the same price b.e current markers just sucks.

just wondering, but how did a three word post turn into a 3 page thread?
well i have to tell you... one time i was gonna buy a few pump guns that me and my friends could play with just because i was looking for something different in paintball. all the stuff was made by brass eagle. it was going on ebay, three guns, 10 twelve-gram co2 things, 2 hoppers (they are cheap to get a new one) and extra stuff like tools, instructions, and all that good stuff. 2 of the guns ere pump and one was semi auto. all of this was like $12. i didnt get it because someone ended up paying $40 for it. thats not that bad for three guns though. but the point is, if they were expensive pump guns they never would have been going for $12 and would never have evem thought about it. im still thinking about going to walmart and getting one today. if it werent for brass eagle, i would have considered playing pump retarded since pump guns cost just as much as most semi-auto guns (even if only an eradicator or spyder victor)
so yeah the moral of the story is cheap DOES = good

Again, for the Nth time, COMPARED TO WHAT? Your comment is useless without a relative example of why you think this way.

i think brass eagles are the only guns that you get more than what you pay for. You pay 15 bucks for a gun. The gun can shoot, and you can actually win games if you are good enough with it. think about other guns. timmies, trixes, angels all cost over 1000. How much is that gun actually WORTH when it comes to what it delivers? Thats impossible to tell, but it sure as hell isnt $1500.

Yet you shoot a Brass Eagle gun? I'll bet you use a Brass Eagle mask and Hopper? Yet you think it sucks. Conflicted?

I'm confused... A viewloader orion or whatever it is, is viewloader not a brass eagle. Isn't that like saying a Volkswagon is an Audi. I'm probably wrong but I'm confused.

$1500?
Pardon but the guns have gotten cheap. I see impulses sell everyday for 200-225.
I'm comparing Brass Eagle to Spyder, Pirahna, etc.
Now they are better than NPS, Zap, etc.
But the Brass Eagle guns have also lowered price wise. But they've also lowered in quality wise.
