Brass eagles suck. Their earlier creations (rainmaker, etc) were great. Even the raptor isn't bad.
However, when you look at the price to quality comparison, you get exactly what you pay for. I'm even thinking about getting a talon for kicks.
Brass Eagle brings a lot of players into the sport, and thats always a good thing. They're making paintball affordable for almost everyone. Can't say theres anythign wrong with that. <3 to BE.
What really still bothers me is that not a single person in the two pages of this thread that says BE sucks has given any hard fact to back up what they say. Please if any of you can actually tell me why the design of a BE gun is bad it will make my day. Because for every design flaw you can tell me, I can tell you a way to fix it. The purpose of the no flaming rule is so you don't come in here and say BE sucks without giving a reason. Even if you say "i <3 BE but all there guns besides the RM sucks!!!11" you still are flaming BE. Please back up your statements with "why" not just BE sucks.

i dont see how they are any worse than a $150 semi auto gun.... in my eyes every single semi-auto gun is the same as the next one. you can't have featuers on a semi auto gun like eyes, the board, whether it is LCD or LED operated, and other electronic stuff. they all shoot paintballs, most have a heavy trigger pull compared to electro guns, where is the difference in a brass eagle and a tippman 98 custom? the 98c is much more durable, but thats it. it isnt electronic, it has a heavy trigger pull, etc.... its pretty much the same thing. what you put on the gun is what makes it better than another gun. a mototrized hopper, a barrel, hpa tank... if you took a certain set of upgrade equipment and put it on a 98c, then put it on a brass eagle gun shooting the same velocity, you would see very little or no difference in performance. i dont see how brass eagle can suck when a spyder compact or victor looks different and doesnt suck. semi auto is semi auto.... so why buy an expensive gun thats the same as a cheap one. you have to have an electro to consider it "an upgrade" to a semi gun.

wow you should get a cookie for that one. you odnt need prrof to prove the Talon is a horrible marker. It speaks for itself...you get what you pay for. 35 bucks=one ****ty ass marker....so i stand firm in what i said about it

again compared to what? and i stand firm to what i said to. This doesnt need to a flame war. I have shot a eradicator which is crappy but its ok for newbs, as well as most other BE guns. I happen to own a old avenger and it never gave me one probelm. It was unaccurate, but I mean it got the job done.

alright pumps dont suck. Pumps were the original paintball guns. Every here of stock class markers?. Like the phantom? The tracer, sl-68, and the sheridan are all pumps and none of them suck. And don't stereotype brass eagle if you think they suck go look at boss's rainmaker
