lol, again i don't even have to try here... and BTW you still haven't read the posts by HP. Try and do that so you can atleast gain some knowledge
It chops... ITS A PUMP!! if its choping paintballs then your doing something very wrong here. I have never heard of anyone complaining about how a pump chops paintballs. Maybe this would occure with an air assited pump when someone has the LP pressure high and pumps very very fast...
Reciever is poor quality.. yea its plastic, and its cheap. Does it work for what its intented for? YES. Does it need a rocksolid aluminium body? NO.
Yes it is inacurate, but this will change based on what paint you use, same as with breaking balls in the barrel. If you use good paint then these will improve.
And because it has the name BE... Wow, that is just it, i can't argue with that. I guess that even though i have led teams into placing in tournaments with a gun that is also labeled BE means I suck and so does my marker. I think i should go quit paintball tomorrow...

I just can't say anymore. Anybody who bashes B.E. without saying why, they suck and have a IQ of 0. My Rainmaker, although stock was the best marker I ever got next to my Cocker and my Talon Ghost. I could go out spend about 60 or so bux and turn a Talon(ghost) into a pimp marker. Brass Eagle's are made to get people into the sport, they are not made for tournament level play. What do you guys not understand. If I was to put about 120-130 dollars into my Rainmaker, for the price, not one marker could touch it. Sure Brass Eagles break down alot, but once you fix it you will know what was wrong and what to do next time so it doesn't stop working. Rainmakers are really annoying when they break down, but I'll tell you this, if you can fix a Rainmaker, you can fix about many marker on the market

best thing i ever did to a guy was bunker him with a talon.
came sneakin up bhind this little smart ass totting an angel(had my mag at that point was carrying the talon as a joke(and because i was using co2 on the mag......when the bolt freezes it pays to have at least one shot( i wazs a kid and couldnt afford HPA))).Anyway had two friends lay down some fire on the bunker the little smart ass was in and came around behind him. got right up behind the bales(hay bunkers are easy to set up....and cheap) and came over the top shot him once in the back and then again in the leg for good measure. the look on his face was absolutley priceless.
Regardless ofwhat you think of the quality theres one overlying problem with bashing guns. Typicaly no matter the quality the player makes it a good usable gun. i see a scary trend evolving as i step back into the world of paintball.......its the trend that was pushing me out almost three years ago. The almighty dollar seems to have taken hold of all but a die hard few. A "good gun" isnt what you can get the best deal on and make work for you, but rather is how much $$ you can dump into a gun. Im hoping by sticking with the die hards and old schoolers still tinkering with guns like the rainmaker, the Mag, even a mech cocker, i can stay away from what i detest. I have never nor will i ever find a need to fire 20bps+. As far as im concerned with a good practiced(wich god know mine was never perfect, and is probably awful now) pop and shoot, 20 bps is fifteen or so wasted balls.
anyway /rant off
thanks and Gig'em

generally i dont really like them, but my brother, and my 2 cousins have eradicators, One of my cousins actually helped me bunker an enemy with his. I just think they make a wierd sound when they shoot, like a clink clink sonud, otherwise their ok. I woned a vl triton and it still works good, but i upgraded to a spyder victor and use the vl as a backup.

guns do not chop balls, either you had a $5 gravity feed hopper, or you were using really old, crappy paint. it could be both. but an angel (with no eyes) and a brass eagle eradicator using the same hopper will get the same number of chops, assuming the person shooting the angel slowed down to the fastest possible speed of the eradicator

Actually one of my friends used a Blade in a scenario almost the whole time. I'll get him to back me up on this. BUt he actually said for such a cheap gun it was extremely accurate.

the gun has nothing to do with accuracy... he had good paint to barrel match. also when using electronic guns, you can see a stream of balls flying everywhere and it looks inaccurate. when you use a pump, you only see that one shot go in the general direction of your aim, so it seems more accurate.

Why would that make me mad? I am one of the people that is trying to say exactly that. That is why I am not afraid to tell people that I shoot a BE. Plus you should try reading what you said over again. It makes no sense and is hard to follow.
BTW spyders are not cool.

From a newbie
I just got an eradicator for less than 20 bucks. I am looking forward putting some rounds through it but am a little concerned. I ordered a marauder and received the eradicator. It does not sound like there is much difference, or cause for concern. I am not even to the point of competition with it yet but was looking for some opinions on it.
