I was actually planning on bringing the air in just like what you suggested. I just need to figure out the fittings. I thought I had an old BE Samurai (it was my brothers entry level marker that was given back to me when he upgraded to a tipmann 98C 2 months after his first outing) that I could scavenge for air lines, fittings, etc but can't seem to find it. I already run my other markers from a remote line.

I was hoping to be able to actually use the clip that came with the gun. The only thing is it would require so much work and would only hold about 15 balls, which really wouldn't be worth the effort. Instead, I'm going to try and get my hands on a used cyclone feed and a10 hopper off Ebay. I'll try to modify the cyclone feed to fit inside the clip and the hopper will hopefully attach on top at the round portion of the clip. Either that or I'll just used some pipe and JB weld to bodge together some sort of feed tube that will run through the clip. Though I think my first idea would be a bit more slick.

Ultimately, I'm planning on adding burst and full auto somehow. I may build my own board since I have the parts or I may try to be slick again and replace the PIC on the board with a DIP socket and a reprogramable PIC in order to create different firing modes.

i actually did this last night too. all ya need is some duct tape and a knife.

http://putfile.com/pic.php?pic=11/32920310393.jpg&s=x12

just cover the vent area in duct tape, cut the excess off, poke the vent holes through with the knife. i actually used a screwdriver to smooth out the tape in the holes.

Here's a quick shortened barrel mod I did a while ago. I just maked the barrel with a marker where I wanted it, used a pipe cutter to cut the barrel, and then used a very sharp Exacto knife to carefully debur and bevel the inside edge.

waht was the length in which the ball gets to the velocity that it needs and to be normally accurate? I like the short barrel look for some dod reason...

Well I can tell you it definitely isn't as accurate as it was originally (luckily the stock gameface barrels are actually pretty decent) but it still isn't too bad at close range. I haven't actually tried to hit anything at a "normal" range. I figured I'd lose accuracey but m intetions are to use it for a spyder pistol mod later on down the road. However, it might also be handy for close quaters since the shorter barrel makes it easier to get around corners, etc and accuracy wouldnt' be an issue over such a short distance. Another thing is that it is loud as heck since I cut off all of the porting.

Lonmg story short? Accuracy - not good unless close, Loud!!! But does look cool.

yeah but if you just had it like 9 inches with plenty of holes in the right spot it would be quite quiet. Its all about the engineering....

Why bother shortening a barrel down to 9"? The stock barrel I started with was a 9" barrel (it's now about 3.5") and you can buy nice barrels around that size for a pretty decent price.

Since I've been snapping pics of my MP3 project lately I decided to revisit some of my paintball projects and get some pics going. Since I'm cheap and prefer DIY over pre-bought/modified kits and parts all of it could be considered "Poor Mans" mods/upgrades.

First is my roundbar stock. It's still a work in progress but here is what I have so far. A 3' length of the 3/8" roundstock is only like $3-4 at Home Depot. All of the bends were done by hand with the assistance of table edges, my knee, and some scrap pipe. Incidentally, the Piranah trigger frame had to be modified to fit onto my Bone Daddy and I had to the sear with the one from the original trigger frame inorder to get consistant and reliable operation. I got the frame off Ebay for $10.

Next is my barrel storage system. Very cheap and easy. PVC pipe, fittings, and some tape. The only three tools I used was a tape measure, saw, and marker.

kamikaze - thats the best way to make a case cus you can go to wolf camera and buy a good sized aluminium shelled case and cut the foam to fit.

yea try shortening one of the springs. If that doesnt work, make sure you velocity adjuster is working properly. Actually check velocity adjuster first, then shorten spring's.

That happened with my old Fish before, it is the springs, you need to up to alighter spring, much better than cutting the stock one, the Fish woulden't go below 340 haha. I upped the spring and it went down to 240.

wish i had pics... anyways, go to radio shack, buy the following:
1 computer fan of a small size
1 9 volt battery
1 9 volt battery holder
1 toggle switch (or push button, i like them better)

drill an appropriate hole in the side of your mask and insert the toggle switch. either tape or screw the fan onto the side of your mask (near your cheek). duct tape the battery/battery holder combo near your cheek. attach all wires, and voila! you just made a cheap fan on you mask (it helps a bit with keeping your mask defogged.)

lol, it's cool man. they don't work 100 percent on any mask (tried it without any drilling on my dye's, worked a little better than nothing)

i see alot of wood stocks on here. could it be possible to drill a hole through an old wooden gun stock and make a custom pull pin for it? just an idea, i think it'd look sweet on a paintball gat
