What to do to my ion
I got an Ion, and i was wondering what i should get so i can play speedball, and rec. don't say trigger, and if you wanna say barrel, what kind?

alot of the smart parts barrerls are nice. if you want customizability. get a all american or freak barrel. but if u just want good barrel for the money, tear drop or progressive.
i personally have the progressive, and its really good.
also check out some of the dye barrels (ion threads?)

you can play speedball and recball with the stock ion. but heres a list on the best upgrades you can get for your ion to make it more compatible for you

Its an ion, as long as you have a tank and hopper its good to go for speedball

don't spend too much. it's fine for speedball stock. maybe an on/off w/rail will do you good. or a unimount. my stock barrel seems to have cleaned itself when i had a barrel break the other day. pointless to upgrade the ion barrel besides a kit.
play with it and see what you need.

14 foot barrel!
id actually suggest a 12", it will perform the same as a 14" and is shorter.

Stock should work fine for speedball, but you do want an aftermarket barrel, I would go 14" J&J ceramic. Cheap, quite, accurate, light, and self cleaning.

nothing wrong with j&j but i like cp barrels more. They just seem to be higher quality to me.
