That'd be super easy. Just make sure they are both momentary 2 pole switches. Then, just wire the two contacts on the PS2 switch onto your hoppers lines.

It's possible, I've seen pictures of them.
I thought someone on here made one but I searched a little and didn't find anything.

I did it to my Reloader B with an X-Button.
Took the button out of the controller and I left the little edges it has at the bottom. Since the X-Button was bigger than the hole for the button on my Reloader B, I had to use my hand held dremmel to kind of bore the hole on the back plate of the loader to make it a little bigger. Didn't do the cleanest job, lol, but it fits semi flush with it now and those little tabs at the bottom of the X-Button that I left on help keep it in the hole so it doesn't just fall right out.
Now, the little knob kind of thing, the actual button on the circuit board, doesn't fit inside the X-Bitton perfectly. Simple fix, all I did was shove little bits of napkin inside the button until the knob reached the bits of napkin. This made it so when I pushed the X-Button it would actually activeate the button on the circuit board.
Works fine and looks good. Nice little added touch and I love the clear back plate so you can see all the circuitry of the board. I'm going to get around to glueing it in probably. The button can spin around when it's in.
Also, don't put too much napkin bits in the button if this is what you decide to do. Too much will make the button stick out of the back plate more. This isn't good because it just means while it's sitting in your gearbag or something, anything could easily turn it on by getting bumped around a little.

I tried doing this over the summer, but wasn't exactly sure how to do it. I had sold my PS2 before Christmas, so I had a crappy Mad Katz controller left, and pretty much anihilated it with a baseball bat.
But, when I couldn't get the buttons to fit, I just quit and threw them all away

Not of the button right now, but soon hopefully. Whenever I get this new USB cable to work with my camera phone.

not that hard and it looks cool. Basically all you really have to do is get your ps1 controller and rip it open and cut out the selected button (Triangle is my personal fav). Then cut out the red button on your halo with an exacto knife and slide the ps1 button under it and in. I suggest leaving a lip like edge on the button and super gluing that to the back side of the halo button plate.

If i find an old ps1 or ps2 controller i will try this. I needed a new button anyways, because my red part wore off, so my backplate is just see through now. If i had a dremel it would be real easy, but i guess i could just use some sandpaper.

Bam ^^^^^^^^^^^^^ Using sandpaper will make it pretty hard to bore out that little hole.

Use a drill and a bit of appropriate diameter instead of sandpaper?
Just be careful, if it bites in hard it'll probably crack the plastic.
