ION Questions

OK guys, I have been out of the paintball arena for some time now, but I have got back in. I bought an Ion to get me started. I was curious if some people out there could help me get started on modifying this thing. Here is what I have so far.

Ion
Halo Feeder
Drop Forward with CP on/off valve
Freak Barrel
New Feeder Neck
Virtue Board
Virtue On/Off Switch
Shocktech Trigger

Any other ideas what will make this gun scream? Also, I attempted to take this thing apart to put on the trigger, how hard is the Ion to break down?

Thanks in advance

The ion is very easy to take apart, i mean very very easy. You need a QEV im supprised you don't have one already. Also you could get yourself a new bolt.

explain what the QEV does again, I have been out of it for a good while and my old gun was a Spyder Xtra, so these upgrades are new to me. Also, you mentioned a bolt, does that make a big difference?

Also, does the Virtue Eyes make a big difference either? I thought the Ion came with Eyes?

The virtue laser eyes are just for looks i think, they may read the ball a tad bit faster but not fast enough to spend the dough. The qev will be used to increase you efficency. The bolt will also increase your efficency and decrease your kick.

thanks for the advice. I will look into both of those. I havent installed anything yet, it is all still in the packages, so since I am going to break it down, I might as well do it all.

well my friend has an ion and just 4 xmas he got all virture stuff and i beleive that the virture eyes are needed if you use the virture board, i dont think that the virture board works with the stock eyes
