WWII Paintball Marker Design

Hey everybody. Here's what I was thinking would be a neat little thing to do over the rest of the winter while I'm not playing.

I want to build a Springfield Rifle paintball marker. What I don't know, is how to do it. So, what I was wondering is, if anybody knows of any members here on the forum, or any links to websites that have the plans to do it. I would most likely make it bolt-action just like the Springfield was, and I'd probably use my mechanical Spyder E99 Avant (I have a mechanical trigger frame on it).

Thanks for all of your help in advance. If anybody has any questions for me that concern this issue, feel free to ask. Once again, I am just llloking for help on designing this. I can easily build it in my Grandfather's woodshop.

EDIT: I have decided to go with the Springfield Rifle from the WWII era.

My friend stuck an m1 carbine stock on his gun, just slid the handle down where the trigger would be, and secure it. An exact replica would be near impossible, with co2 and balls to load.

But Cabelas sells a walnut m1 garand stock, but its kinda pricey.

Thank you for your reply. I have decided that I'm going to go with the Springfield Rifle, which is a bolt-action rifle with "telescope" from back in WWII.

I'm looking to do a similar mod with a mosin nagant m44 stock I have. I'm planning to use a 98 custom. I don't know if I'm going to go so far as to make it bolt action, but I may do that eventually. I found a post in the Underground mod forums that discusses putting a paintball gun into a rifle stock. This may help you: Marker into Stock How To's? - The Underground Forum
