Nah man you got it all wrong. Its not a scope, its a red dot. A scope has magnification while a red dot doesn't. And don't try to prove me wrong other wise an ACOG doesn't doesn't magnify either as some n00bs think, they have marks for distance.
Moving on..... You can adjust the red dot to correct the shot. Its not like you put a red dot on any type of gun or marker and your set.. No that's not how it works. You attach it to the rail and have to adjust it. If you can adjust it being on top of your rail then you can adjust it to a higher position.
Try some ghillie mesh not rags. they don't look bad and provides camo. IMO its better than painting cause paint would cost more if custom done by another person.
