Are they worth upgrading?

Hi, I've recently got my first Paintball gun. It was a Spyder pilot ACS. I got due to the fact many of my close friends said it was a great gun to start with. I have gotten greatly fond of this sport. And I think it is time to either buy a new gun or to upgrade.

Is it worth upgrading?
Should I spent 30 or so dollars on a new barrel and such?
Or should i just save up for a improved paintball gun.
If so can some people give me some suggestions on if I should save till i get really good and get a ego or angel or buy one ASAP.
Thanks

For the regular paintball enthusiast, getting a new barrel and a clamping feedneck for a gun like that is pretty normal.

J&J Performance makes the best one-piece barrel, period, and something like a Warrior Clamping feedneck should do just fine
