Painting an ASA

Can it be done? I mean, would it interrupt gas flow or make it hazardous or anything?

you don't exactly want to paint any metal, really; it looks bad.

To color paintball markers they use one of two processes:

Anodizing, which uses electricity to color the metal

Power coating, which places a layer of colored plastic over it.

Look for a product called DURACOAT. I use to paint firearms. DuraCoat Firearm Finishes I painted my brothers Ruger Mini-30, AR-15, and my Tapco SKS. The stuff is awsome. Very durable and tons of colours. Goes on with an air brush or you can buy spray bomb kits for it. If you live in Canada FABSPORTS : ATI, ATN, DURACOAT, GREEN MOUNTAIN, GUN GRABBER, LEAPERS, L&R ULTRASONIC, MAGPUL, MAKO, MIL-COMM, NC STAR, OPSGEAR, PAASCHE, PISTOL CAM, RB PRECISION, SADLAK INDUSTRIES, SUPERIOR CONCEPTS, TACTICAL INNOVATIONS, TACTICAL PRECISION SYSTEMS, .
