Arrow Aurora finish.

Do anodizers do this? How do I get this done to my new Grey Ghost?

Annodizers won't normally do it. ODD started doing offering the finish a year or so ago. He's still around but I can't say for sure if he is offering the aurora finish anymore.

oil slick

aurora

The difference is that the oil slick doesn't change colors at different angles. I'm fairly certain that is the difference.

from what iv seen aurora doesnt do a huge change of colors, 2.0, we mentioned ODD above, go to the "services" section though and youll see what i was talking about, that oil slick is pretty hot, iv seen it on a few knives lately, i really like it, anyone got a link for anywhere that will do the oil slick?

edit-martix i was looking at the photo above and was wondering if there is any reason they just did that to the body, im assuming they can do it to the rest of the marker as well?

holy crap i just realized thats an impulse that has the aurora done to it, thats hot

I've got photos of shockers, cockers, impulses, egos, and one or two other markers with aurora. Let me post them up.

You need to get off the mindset that because your have it, people should like it and respect you. it's no worse than rich people thinking the world owes them everything because they're wealthy.

Aurora is a plating, and is EXTREMELY hard and durable. Oil Slick is not. My Oil Slick PM7 is beginning to flake due to the cheap quality of the Oil Slick process. I'll probably have it reanno'd at some point due to it.
