Question Upgrading a Barrel, Advice needed

So i rock a Spyder victor 2 as my free gun when doing speed ball or scenario(mostly the later) and i am still sitting with the stock barrel on this gun. the barrel on this spyder model makes it loud, and the performance of not choppiong balls sometimes falls behind. what barrel would you upgrade it with?

I'd go with a 14" J&J ceramic. About $30. Really good barrel.

It's cheap and it's very quiet and accurate. 16" is better than 14" in my opinion. Most people just say go with a 14". What makes it better than others is what I listed above, and you don't want to put a $80 barrel on a $40 gun. Doesn't make much sense.

Barrels don't chop balls bolts chop balls. The gimmick with the J&J is that it supposedly lets you shoot through barrel breaks better and self cleans. My experience has been that any barrel that matches your paint nicely will do the same thing but the J&J is still a good quality barrel for cheap.

i do indeed think so, i think id use a 14" for my speedball, and a 16" for scenario, eh owell i could do a 16" for both, for being a cheap gun the victor holds up nicly have had it a few years now, its killer very durable, so natuarly i would like a barrel that would match the marker

J&J for sure

Yes, any barrel with a nice paint/barrel match will clean itself out pretty well, but the J&J always cleans itself out, no matter what

I personally use 12" for speedball and 12" or 14" for woodsball

Yeah, J&J one of the best for price/performance. I actually have a tendency to use a 14"-16" a lot, but will use anything from 8"-16" for anything (although I don't have anything 8"-10"). To this day I have yet to use a barrel kit that would convince me to abandon my J&J Edge kit that I bought brand new back in like 2003.

Yeah, once in a great while I will actually buy something new instead of waiting to find it in the used market.
