Question Spyder Sonix Ugrades

Looking to upgrade my Spyder Sonix a bit this Christmas. All stock right now. Planning on usually doing speed ball, maybe a 3man rookie tourney. Along with the occasional woodsball when I go with a group. Just wondering what would be best for the type of play I plan on doing?

Honestly, don't put more into the Spyder than a clamping feedneck and a J&J Ceramic barrel

Save the rest of your money for paintballs, field fee's and a new gun down the line

Okay, thanks. Are the "anti-chop" bolts worth anything? Just wondering cause, my gun just loves to chop, even when I pull the trigger just a few times a second.

The only one I would get would be the Terminus Bolt from Alamo City Paintball

A better idea would be to get a nice hopper
A VL Eye-Force can be had for $50 and an INvert Halo Too for $60 and you will never need another hopper ever again

I'll probably be getting a 16in J&J, Terminus Bolt, and a clamping feed neck.

Before you even think about those, I'd highly suggest you look into getting a good mask and hopper

Mask:
Well, it's your eyes, you only got one set of those, and playing is much more fun with a comfy non-fogging mask
Ventz, Empire, Invert, JT Spectra, Dye, Proto are all great masks

Hopper:
Get a good hopper once, and you will be able to use it on any gun you get in the future, thus saving money

I'm definitely in need of a new mask. Can't stand how much mine fogs.

I definitely see where you coming from about the hopper. I have things with more priority on my Chirstmas list though. I'll just wait and see.

EDIT: Looked at some hoppers, including the Eye-Force. I'm interested most in a package that has a Revolution-Force and 47ci 3000psi N2 tank, for $60. Or the Eye-Force with the N2 tank, for $80. Is it worth the extra $20?

Nope
Try and get a 4500psi tank instead, you will be much happier with them, and they will work much better
But between the Force and the Eye-Force, it's hands down to the Eye-Force

The Eye-Force is a true forcefeed design that only spins when you shoot and feeds a true 20 bps, the Force on the other hand spins constantly, breaks paint, and eats batteries; completely useless unless you mod it
