Yes it does, but at the extended range, you paintballs may not break

While this is kinda expensive, they're all going to be around this price range.

Smart Parts All American Barrel Front 6" W/ Apex Tip - eBay (item 370150823554 end time Oct-23-09 14:21:14 PDT)

I would suggest you get this: Lapco Big Shot Barrel with Apex Ready Tip - 12 Inches [Smart Parts Ion] and then just buy the apex tip off ebay or something. The stock Apex barrel sucks. Also, if you just want to put the apex tip on a barrel you already have, here's a link how to do it. I did this on mine yesterday and it works amazing. How to: apex tip on another barrel

fixed^^^

dont buy into the advertising hype neither the apex or flatline add any extra useable range. you will not be a uber leet sniper and they will not give you any huge advantage

save money and get a $30 J&J, best barrel for a beginning player out there

While yes, the J&J barrels are the best beginner barrels, it's all about what the player wants. Heck, get the J&J, and put the Apex tip on it. Best of both worlds. The Apex can be taken off if need be, and you still have a great barrel.

apex kills accuracy, if you put spin on the paintball you will see worse accuracy, not to mention the J&J is great at shooting out breaks but put that tip on there and it will just catch all the paint

IMO apex is like the flatline, waste of money aimed at new players

Yes they do. The link thatin my above post is smart parts threaded. You can probably look up Lapco smart parts on Google and it'll bring some barrels up.

how can you not find a place that sells a SP threaded barrel that fits the sp1? SP thread is sp thread.. unless i'm that out of things, i'm pretty sure you're confused about what you are actually looking for.. either that or dont know your marker very well at all...

Well the thing is I don't have the market yet and I know that the barrel is kinda like a bull pub design where it sinks into the marker amd thought that it wouldn't fit on the sp cause of the tip

if it is sp threads it will fit the sp1,

o and one more piece of advise

step 1) get the marker
step 2) go play
step 3) worry about which barrel to upgrade to
