Viewloader Vertex

Ok, so I have a Viewloader Vertex, and I'm wondering how I can increase the FPS. Examples for Suggestions: Parts or is there anyway to actually increase the FPS from something on the gun(i.e. a knob or something of that sort.)

Theres a black knob thing that you put a hex key or an allen key into and turn clockwise to raise the velocity, and turn counterclockwise to lower velocity.

Have you cronographed your gun to check your velocity? Field limits velocity to 270-290 FPS. If you are shooting too low, then you need to replace the spring.

Does it shoot really slow, or do you just want to boost your range a little?

if you dont know how fast it is shooting take it to a shop or field, its not a range issue its a safety issue you are dealing with, if its already maxed out and that spring that is in it is not super old then you are probably already shooting above safe limits

go find a chrono and have it tested so you know what it is shooting at before messing with it more

I don't plan on shooting anybody with it, but Yeah it's as far as it can go to the right, and I don't know bout the spring, I bought it used.

doesnt matter, if your shooting fast anyway your chances of breaking paint in your breach are much higher and you are just wasting gas, go get it tested
