I have a spyder rodeo and a ball got sheared in half by the bolt and a little price of shell got caught between the chamber wall and the bolt how do I get the bolt unstuck? It is locked up and won't move someone please help

get a dowel or a long screwdriver. with no air in the marker, put it down the barrel to the bolt face. Gently tap it with a hammer. Then when you free up the bolt wash everything up to get the shell out and then re-oil the orings, reassemble and you are golden.

Thanks ill try that and let you know what happens does anyone know of a sure where you can find cheap aftermarket parts like an e-trigger and stuff loose that mabye even used?

e-trigger isn't cheap. and as old as the rodeo is, you're better of getting a new marker than upgrading it

What is the purpose of a drop forward?

put the tank lower and more forward. gets you closer to your marker... and for some people its more comfortable

Oh ok does anyone have any good mod suggestions for a newbie to make my gun shoot faster and more accurate free would be nice also what type of paint is best for spraying a market

Accuracy is 90% the paint you shoot, 5% the person shooting it, and 5% the barrel you shoot it through. More accurate? Buy better paint. Unfortunately your $Free.99 price tag isn't going to work here.


Far as shooting faster - You're using a mechanical marker. You can pick up a used Fenix or Blitz for about $100. Considering what you get as far as features and benefits go - you're best spending the money there, than an E-grip...e-trigger..or further trying to polish a mechanical marker to...not be a mechanical marker.

If by market - you mean sales facility - I have no suggestions for you. I'm sincerely hoping auto-correct buggered that up.

Agreed - but you can't exactly bring a shooting platform and a vice on the field. Your shooting stance, accuracy, eyes, astigmatisms, ability to sight down a barrel...let alone barrel length preferences all factor in to this.


I put the paint so high - because...a "marksman" can take a paintball marker..and can miss consistently due to **** paint, but can compensate for a bad barrel..as long as his platform is secure.

Several things can be done cheap/free. I don't have experience with the Rodeo models, but have done a lot to other models and clones.

A few things would be to polish the internals. Use a metal polish or car wax. This is to keep the gun cycling smoothly

Drill out the Valve with a 3/16's bit. This is to keep enough air pressure in the gun to prevent shootdown under rapid fire

You should get a spring kit. Start with the softest springs and work your way up to provide consistant cycling. You could also cut a few coils off your spring and stretch it out back to the proper length (if you do this cut no more than 1-2 off at a time).
This will make your gun recoil less and that should add to accuracy.

For trigger jobs you can experiment with different springs (click pens are a good source) There are also magnet options you can try. Radio shack and harbor freight both sell small/powerful rare earth magnets that are perfect for this.

Other than that just keep it clean and oiled.
