this is the idea of streetrider1137. he made it up and i just saw it and posted it here on painballforum

NOTE: these hopper mods only work for open bolt blowbacks[I.E. spyder, rebel, viewloader esspecially tippmanns due to side cocking]

version 1.) (((materials needed))) this one is REALLY simple, just drill about 4 holes into your hopper feedneck, just make sure the holes arent cooverd by the guns feedneck

Reason for faster loading-) the co2 or nitrogen relased into feed tube, escapes quicker leting the ball drop faster

version 2.) (((Materials needed))) Rubber band

drill or dremil

string

marble

STep one) put cut in rubber band so it is not continous

Step two) drill two holes into the marble, make sure that 1 is vertical and the other is horizontal

Step three) drill a hole in the top of your loader, make sure its in the center

Step four) drill hole in back of loader, prefferibly right under the lid

Step five) drill hole on opposite side of back hole

Step six) drill a hole right be hind the feedneck, facing up

step seven) drop rubberband through top hole and tie a not at top

Step eight) tie string to marble

Step nine) put rubber band thorugh marble hole, and tie knot at bottom in order to keep marble suspended

step ten) put string through marble, and put knot in string right before marble, and after it goes through the marble

step eleven) put sring through back hole, and tie string to cocking rod on gun and your done if this seems confusing at any point, IM me and il answer your questions

Also, remember this will void any warranty on your hopper. And I believe the second one only works on regular gravity feeds?

I think its a custom job to make it faster on just regular gravity feeds huey.

But man, befo I go drillin holes in ma hoppa, I'm gonna need to see pics and a test video because A: I'm skeptical and B: I'm confused on wtf to do.

But if ur talkin bout voidin tha warranty, I don't think anybody is going to care about a 4 dollar gravity feed hopper.

yes. i dont really care about trying the first in a gravity hopper...

if it still works..then its ok!

but i was thinking,...maybe the gun looses preasure or something cuz the hopper wont make to much resistance to the air, so many of it will come throu....

i mean, its kind of an electrical circuit... isnt?... if there is no R , then all i will go throu that path...

Not an a5 because once the bolt is back it doesn't move until it's out of air.

yes this is for gravity feeds and yes it will void the 2.50 hopper warranty(is there even 1 on a grav feed hopper?)

I seriously doubt a company is going to take time to set up a warranty for a 4 dollar hopper.

Here's my take on it. I think the half of the string that's not attatched to your bolt needs to actually be a rubber band (so it can stretch and allow the marble to move). Look at the pic, you'll see what I mean.

EDIT: After thinking about it for a while, I realized that you might also want to use something a bit stronger than string. You could use heavy fishing line, or picture-frame-hanging wire (very flexible, very strong). I have a feeling that string will break pretty fast with this mod...

Thats a pretty good idea, providing that it wont chop up the paint in the hopper. Has anyone actually done this or seen it done?

I don't see how it could chop the paint, really. I'll try it soon and find out. I'll put it on my friend's gun with an RT, and see if it works as good as his electro agitated hopper.

I tried it works fine doesn't feed fast, but faster than a gravity feed.

yeah having a marble in your hopper is pretty dangerous, the rubber bands broke and it got into the chamber you could kill someone. A rubber bouncy ball would be much safer.
