Whats the best way to remove anno? Especially out of the hard to get spots in the milling? I tried dremmeling it but it didnt work as well as I had hoped. THen just normal sand paper takes forever and I also even tried paint thinner and it obiously didn't work? What to do?

My friend told me about steel wool. Aparently some ppl will take that to their marker and get all the anno off so they are left with the silvery polished color with the funky fancy cirlces in it that make it look secksy. I would just be careful in concidering weather or not u wanna take steel wool to ur marker.

You can buy a chrome and anodizing stripper from www.caswellplating.com. it comes in a powder form thet you mix with water. I have never used it, but I know they stand behind all of their products. I'v been doing business with them for a while.

if you wanna get the anno off use drano and make sure u plug up all the holes to the inside of the gun if u wanna take the outside anno off because the anno is much smoother than the bare aluminum under it and that will be better on the internals like your bolt.

Well u see I have to do it all over. So internaly to. But I removed all the parts. So Drano u say?

Also Im checking that website.

And if you must know hy it needs to be removed is because spray paint on a half ass job of sanding off the anno suxs.

yea drano will work but it has 2 have sum ingreedient in it and i cant remember wut its called. thou im willing 2 bet most of the drano's or sink cleaners have it in them cuz when i got the stuff 2 get my anno off i kno every cleaner had that ingreedient in it ill tell u if i remember. i think its sodium or but it has a different name it may say it in ()

The anno was saned off so I can paint my gun Blue with spray paint. The spray paint sucked so I sanded it off. Unfortunatly I didn't get all of the anno off originally prior to me painting it. BEcause the anno was stuck into the milling and sanpaper wasnt working. THats why it needs to be removed.

Also im gunna try the Drano. I also found metaol etch? Anyone know what this stuff does?

as long as it says it can be used on aluminum it should b good. b carefull w/ it cuz most etching primers are very toxic and horriable 4 u 2 inhale. make sure 2 prime outside so the fumes dont just stick around u. dont make the mistake i did
