how does an electronic gun work?

Ok,
I need to know how an electronic paintball gun works, i think it uses a solenoid to move the sear, is this correct?

Okay here we go

You pull trigger, a micro switch is pushed. The micro switch activates the sear. The sear strikes the hammer/striker(for spyders). The hammer hits the valve which lets air in. The air travels up to the bolt and pushes air out the bolt which fires the paintball.

This is much different for Autocockers and closed bolt markers that use a lot of things to recock the marker and such.
