Hi, new member here. Me and some friends of mine are converting a Jeep Grand Wagoneer into a PAV(paintball assault vehicle). Anybody else here done this? Can anybody give me a list of fields in PA that allow PAV's?

damn, y not use something a bit smaller and they will be more likely to let u use it. i know for a fac EMR in north pa will let u use them, but its speed is limited to like 5mph or something like that

We picked the jeep cause I had one lying arround& I know it'll go anywhere and will take a msaaive load on the suspension

What do you need to do to it? A jeep wagoneer is already impervious to paintballs.

We're replacing all the windows except for the front windshield with sheet-metal of the same guage(all windows except 2 of them are power)& we're considering a roll-cage. Other than that nothing much

Take a large sheet metal section and put it over the front windshield with some symmetrical square pieces cut out so that it forms two smaller windows like on this brdm.

Also consider painting it. Since I get the feeling you dont really care much its wellbeing, rip out the interior carpeting and replace the floor with diamond aluminum plating.

Consider modifying the front with the sheetmetal to make it more aggressive.

I used to drive one of these everyday, we picked this one up for 50 bucks, it's not in the best shape but it has minimal rust. We've gutted the inside(no more leather seats)& if it would be street-legal we'd do that w/the front windows. We got nothing to tow this with so we have to drive it to the field.

Oh yeah, we're painting it camo as soon as we replace the windows

Well make it so that the aluminum shielding rests against the front window glass with some fittings, but is removable for street driving.
