A Light Antitank Weapon for paintball ?! I think you´re on the wrong forum here buddy. Nobodys trying to play war. Yes, I know there are "paintball tanks" at scenario games but this definately is overkill. 0? Someone tell me if I missed something recently 0?

That one is nice, Most of them I've seen are extremly ****ing ugly. Best way to do it, I would say is to just think of the basics of a paintball gun- I.e. what is actually going on.
To break it down simply, you have gas building up behind the paintball(s) this build up forces the ball down the barrel and out of the gun. Most effective way I can think of to do it is to do the piping is to have a 'well' or an area in which the gas can gather from the tank, have this area seperated from the tank by a valve. Using a gage, mounted to the well, you can accurretly estimate how much pressure you will actually need to shoot off, and how far it will shoot- as well as how powerful. Closing the valve, you'd have the gas placed into the 'well' and from there you can have a secondary valve which leads to the 'gun' part of the rocket. using a quick release valve, or something like that, you can let the pressurized gass out quickly, which would hit the back of the ball and *FIRE!* the paint. Keep in mind, however, most effective use of this to fire more then one paintball would be to use a sabot, or something that will fit snuggly enough to keep air from rushing out around it, but not so tight that it wouldn't fire out.
Use this at your own risk, I'm currently working on a model like that for scenario games. So yeah, hopefully that will answer your question. If I even read it right.

I should type this out with pics, and post it and force a mod to sticky it. I should, probably won't, but I should.

Sabot's the hardest part of the whole build up, imo. Still though, i'm happy it worked out for you.

Check out some of my ideas in this forum. Cheapest way would be to get a large piece of PVC and just fit the cheapest brass seagull in it, and spraypaint it OF green. Just gotta tihnk of a way to feed paintballs.

If you build one be careful to regulate the gas coming into it if using a tank or use a set volume like a 12gram. PVC isn't rated to withstand full CO2 pressures at 850psi. You could easily end up with plastic shrapnal if you aren't careful. NEVER use unregulated HPA with one. Good luck and have fun!

Me and my freind made one of those, we hooked up a huge compressor to some pvc, and duck taped the end of the hose onto on end, and stuck a potatoe in the other. Nick shoved the main end of the hose into the compressor at 230 psi, and i held the piping like a mortar, all you hear is *tssssssssssSSSSSSSS THUNK* and the potatoe flew about 75 feet. It was b1tchin'.

I have this really gun-crazy friend. He made a kind of cannon that could fire basketball's. Now the idiot wants it to fire bowling balls.
