one word, maybe a few, read a article in october facefull, they state that a pb goin 390, which you coudl have, which isn't much ove rhte limit for a cheap gun, can hit your googles screw em up. If another shot is taken it can go thro your eye, through your hole brain, then hit your skull. U would be died before you hit the ground. Nice try and i think you wanted posts, thats stupid and you should be banned, not giving rep!

Deffinatly never skimp on saftey gear EXPECIALLY MASK paintballs can be very dangerouse going at high rates of FPS so if you skimp on a mask you can have trouble. Mask is the most important peice of equipment in my opinion.

umhuh sure, your the stupid people that give pb a bad rep. Anyway i can't post it cause it is over the limit and so you can read it i woudl have to be pretty handy. I migth just post the stuff about googles, but i am scannign as i speak the whole article and if you email me at caliguy14@comcast.net i will send you it as a big file and you can read it.

Stupid stuff like that can leave you blind. My dad's seen people get welts the size of baseballs on their necks (pre-300fps ruling). Imagine that going into your eye.

People are saying "don't skimp on the safety equiptment, especially the mask" but for me its really the only "safety equiptment i wear" i don't really consider my jersey and pants safety equiptment... i guess my kneepads might be considered safety equiptment though... so what i'm wondering is do you all wear chest protectors or something, or neck protectors?

Yeah some newb didn't know how to chrono his damn gun so he lit my pack up 11 times at 387fps. ****er had to buy me 3 new pods.

haha i remember this thread. I started it before the site got haxed. I posted my poor mans tank cover the poormans pod and mini poormans pod. and someone posted a poormans pod pack made of cardboard from paintcase and tape hahah good times.

While everyone busts your chops...if the goggles you used were the issue ballistic lense type, then they're probably better than any paintball gear you can get. Sure you didn't have anything but cardboard and duct tape for your face, but hell, the importance of that is pale when compared to eye protection.

Also, this thread got WAY off track...I'd love to see more legitimate replies about poor man's gear!

um huh, sorry to tell you but googles in the army differ. The ones in iraq where oakley ski googles, they had to be in style, screw armor, they need oakleys, anyway those might stop sand, not a ak47/aks74 round.
