I'm trying to dry fire my g3 to get out the extra air. I screw in the air tank, switch the ASA lever down, and turn on the marker. But when I pulled the trigger all I here is the normal click of the trigger hitting the frame. This is my first marker so it may seem like a stupid question.

Ha. But I know there is air because I also screwed in the tank and there is still air there.

Your gun has eyes. The gun won't fire unless a ball is in the breech. You need to turn the eyes off otherwise the gun will not be allowed to fire.

You can shut them off like bobide said or just screw the tank in untill the air starts seeping out and leave it like that until it's all gone. *note- you probably already thought of that, I'm just suggesting it.
