The best Dangerous Power Marker.

So, what do you guys think is the best out of their entire line?

I'm wanting to know for my new gun.

F8 > Fusion > Threshold > G3 SE > throwing paintballs > G3.

Ok...MAYBE the G3 is better than throwing them...BARELY.

You can admit she's hot.

I thought that it would go F8 > Threshold > Fusion > G3 SE >G3

If I weren't biased against the milling of the Threshold, I probably would have went that way. But that thing is just UGLY IMO.

So, which should i get? I know that tlmiller is biased towards the G3, because he HATES it. But i don't know, this is my gun after a horrible PMR story, that i don't wish to share, or I may throw up in the midste of writing it. So what should i get for my second gun? It doesn't have to be a DP, but whats a good gun? I heard great things about the DPG3 and the SLG. My price range is at around 350 - 430 CAD$

SLG is a sear-tripper. It's a DOWNGRADE from a PMR. G3 SE has all the worst issues from the G3 fixed (it's still a total gas hog), it's not bad. F8 good for the price. If you're willing to go used, Fusion F7 can be had $200. Angel 1 and UL'd PM7's in that pricerange also. And of course the Quest can be had for that much too.

I'm sure you can get a great used marker for that amount of money. If you like DP then you should definitely get the fusion. Look on ebay, i'm sure there's at least one F7 on sale right now for cheep.

But out of the canadianpaintball.com stock, dude, the invert mini.

sloppy trigger, very mushy, crappy board, horrible efficiency, too much kick for a spooly. Very poor marker.

Wow, the F8 Looks amazing compared to the G3. I might pick one up, they look around 430$ CAD. The proshop websites in my area suck balls, so i need to call tommorow. (:

The ONLY negative thing IMO about the F8 is the eye logic. It is simply a tripped/not-tripped. So if you chop a ball and the paint covers the eyes, it will fire. however, the likelihood of this is fairly low. And yes, the F8 is awful nice for the price. I got mine straight up trade for a PMR. Personally, I think I got a great deal.

PMR IMO, and Proto in general, IMO are Crap, and terrible quality for their price.

Proto overall pre 09 was one of the far and away best values in paintball. The SLG is crap, the PMR is only ok, but the Matrix line is AMAZING for the price, ecspecially the PM8. It was the best Matrix ever made until the release of the DM9. There's a reason the PM8 outsold the DM8, and that the DM9 is more similar to the PM8 than the DM8 internally.

PM8 with that hole... yuck, its the marker that killed the PM series. Now thats saying something. lol

I've seen/shoot my far share of F7's and I have to say they are one nice marker. They are tuff as nails. One of my good freinds got one for his second marker after getting back into the sport (his first was a 2000 autococker that cuased him to quite the sport). Anyway, that F7 never got maintanced. EVER lol. We played a couple tournaments and it worked great all summer long. I havn't gotten ahold of a F8 but I'm sure its just as nice and lighter.

The simple eye logic on the Fusions can sometimes be good. If you break a ball but your in the middle of a game and you want your marker to shoot, it will. I hate it when your marker is to smart to work and you have to stop shooting and mannually turn the eyes off to keep playing.

Anyway as for best DP gun, I'm interested in the new Rev-I with the windows. I'm thinking its going to be nice, might consider getting it over my quest.. That is if the efficency allows me to shoot over 700 on a 45/45 (like my quest).
