T.e.s. Transformation
Ok, first off I am going to be buying a TES for $50. I want to know if I could turn that thing into a Bob Long A-Bomb Intimidator . Where would I get the body, would I need any extra parts, if so what parts would I need and where would I get them? Basicly I want to put the TES into the A-Bomb body but dont know where to get one and Im not sure if I need extra parts and where to get them. Thanx In advance.

body will be expensive....just to tell you...prob around $300 is my best guess. and it wont perform nearly as good as the a-bomb. just diff body. i would just get some custom milling on my body if i were you. looks better IMO and is more original.
ps. no idea bout the parts

DAMN, I didn't think it would be that much for a body. What kind of custom milling can you do?

well, if the TES is identical to a spyder, then i think most of the parts will fit right in. question: if ur turning the TES into a timmy....why do u need a body? Use the stock one. U can buy the ram, barbs, and some other parts online.

The A-Bomb body looks so awsome though, I just love it. But where can you get bodies? And if I were gonna increase the performance of my hopefully soon to be TES would it be as good as the bob longs? Also would those Timmy upgrades fix those problems that people have sometimes (alot) with the TES. Also one more thing could you give me a full list of the timmy parts I could put into my TES that would increase its performance to a timmy? Thanx

u would have to do a total conversion. It's called the spimmy conversion. It's got its own thread on nation about it in the spyder forum.
What u do is replace the striker and spring w/ a ram, which u then have to drill some holes in the body (inside) to allow the barbs to be there. Which will direct the airflow.
It's pretty expensive, and can cost $500+, but if u find misc. used timmy parts well some ppl have done it for $300.

PFF...another expensive thing, i am probably going to just buy some timmy parts and increase performance of the tes. what timmy parts will work in the tes? And can someone tell me a little more about custom milling? How do you do it, where do u go to do it, how much does it cost and what does it look like?

custom milling is up to you, ppl can change the look of the gun, like paint it an such. it probably costs around 100 bucks depending on what you want to do, you can choose what you want, so it doesnt look like anything particular.

Hey man, there is a quick way to do this. Go to the Search function and search about Spimmy Converions or Spyder to timmy conversions. You will get ALL the info you need, quicker. You can also search for Annodizing shops that can customize the look of your new, rad gun as far as it's color scheme goes.
Now, Just because you put the A-Bomb body onto a TES (If it works, doubtful) You do not get performance enhancements. You still have a TES. In order to have "something like" a timmy performance, then you need to convert internals. How? Search.
IMO it's not worth your time. The time you spend on this, you can get a job, and WORK (OMG I SAID WORK) Yes get a job and save up and buy an A-Bomb. And you won't get laughed at for being a poser. Sides, you will probably invest more time and money (if you have some, judging by your questions you sound very young and no job) than if you just went and bought what you wanted.
A-Bomb costs too much? Sorry, paintball costs money. I droll over high-end guns too, i want them. But i know i don't have the money to, so i'm saving up. You should to, not waste money on stupid stuff like this. Go out and BALL, then worry about how pretty you look. Show them that they look pretty in your paint.

yea if you do a spyder-timmy conversion its not worth it. just buy a timmy and you'll be alot happier, with no work at all [except a few clicks on xpaintball]

Errg, why doesnt anybody search or read before asking questions? No timmy parts will fit the tes unless you do a timmy conversion. I mean the parts will fit but they wont function. Only thing you can use is probably a timmy bolt. If you had a T1 it would be different.
