Things that have helped my TES

these are the mods i have put on my tes that have greatly increased it accuracy and performance on the field.

1 - 14" evil driver barrel. (anything above the stock one will do)

2 - evil delrin bolt. (made a big difference in accuarcy and efficiency)

3 - teflon ball detents (the stock steel one made my balls hook to the left every shot)

4 - instead of stretching the sear spring i picked up a spring meant for a tippman a5. it was just a touch longer but easily 2 times stronger then the stock spring. (no more double firing since installing)

5 - i found that the main spring kit does not work very well with the tes. i tried every spring in the kit and it was nearly impossible to to keep the velocity consistant. i ended up going back to the stock spring and it shoots around 255-265 fps.

I find that lubing all the moving internal parts (valve, spring, stricker, bolt, seal, threads). Doing this regularly will keep your gun running very smoothly and consistantly.

A Check-It Unimount. I don't have one yet, but i will be ordering soon. They are a great bottomline. A little hard to install/uninstall, but it makes for ease of use with its on/off knob, release valve, and you can hook macro up to it.
Speaking of macro. If you want macro on the stock reg you will need a metric/standard thread converter. At the present time your stock TES reg will only accept braided hose because the threads are metric. You can buy an adapter for around 6 bucks that will let you hook up a macroline to it.

A new valve is good. This is not totally necessary, but if you feel the need, it might be a good idea. A good reg/valve/bolt match can make for great consistancy. Add a good barrell and you have a consistant accurite monster.

There are no new grips yet, but when they come out, buy them! The stock grips are ok, but they add no comfort, and they are kinda ugly.

As for bolts. The Evil bolt is good. So is the Superfly bolt. If you want a bolt specifically designed for the TES. I am not sure of the name of the manufacturer, but there is some stuff on Pbnation about it. Go there to find out.

Barrell wise, anything over 70 dollars is a really nice barrell. Kits are only necessary if you feal the need for one. The Dye ultralight barrell is a very good barrell for around 100 dollars. And kit wise, you can go for the Phat, or Empire kits, which come in different sized kits. You can also go for the Smart Parts Freak kit, or the Evil Pipe, bot around 170.

Feednecks are very important, and if you want a good one, OGI has a low-rise clamping feedneck. Any clamping feedneck will work well because then no sanding to the hopper will be needed. They go for around 30 bucks.

The volumizer on your gun serves really no purpose unless you are using Co2. It just lets the Co2 expand more, and ads volume to the gun. If you feel like spending 30 bucks, you can get a new, cooler looking one for your TES, but that is a cosmetic upgrade only.

I just ordered a new bolt from apmproducts.com. That's probably the bolt your talking about from pbnation. For 20 bucks its a steal and the reviews on it are excellent.
