Hey my friend just got a used e1 and it worked fine the first time. It shot about 100 balls without chopping any. However the next day when we went out to play his gun started messing up. He would cock it and fire one or two shots tops and then it would just not shoot and the ball would roll out of his barrel. He would need to cock it again and fire another one or two shots. We took it to a place and they didn't know what was wrong, so I'm asking you guys.

How much co2 does he have, is tank empty? Is the gun well lubricated? Do the balls double feed (bad bad detents)? Can you fire the gun without paint smoothly? Do the balls fit in the barrel right?

Yes everything was fine with the gun, he had just oiled it and had a full co2 tank. The balls weren't double feeding. I think it has something to do with the co2 feed system. normally you cock it once and itll shoot a ton of shots, but it was "uncocking" after one or two.

Was it burping? Like shooting like a machine gun for a couple of shots until it would recock itself. Sounds like your not screwing the tank in far enough, or too far, or your regulator (if equipped) is giveing you problems...I'd just be good and sure that tank is 100% full before I go chasing other problems...
