I kow there was a thread on wich one is the best but i want to know how good is the stock reg on co2 and hpa and do you really need a different one.
Also dont you need a adapter for where it screws into the frame and a different asa and air line if you get a new reg

The way people are talking, it's good with both but there are better. The CP or a Torp would be a better bet. It does take an adapter because its some weird thread pattern. These can be found on E-Bay.

You canot use an adapter...They just dont exist...You can however just drill and retap the threads to 1/8" on your dropforward pretty easy...

They do not require an adapter to fit on the gun, just the threading for the SS hose into the stock dropforward is an extreamly odd..not even metric, foreign threading...You can drill it out and retap it, or buy a new dropforward...

The stock one lubbed up good will yield about +/-2 (couldn't hope for much better) with HPA, and a tad bit more with a/s co2. Its a good reg, don't worry about it unless you are shooting so fast your getting shootdown, then you'll need an upgrade. But its plenty consistant enough for most players...
