Is this recommended maintenance once you take delivery of this gun? I am thinking about buying the T1 and after reading this, I just want to know if I need to have some Dow lying around for when it comes in. Also, what advantages are to be had by changing the valve core?
Thanks.

The core unscrews, but it might be possible to take it out with needle nose pliers
Yes is pretty reccomended to do this before use. The reg needs to be lubbed, because its not from the factory. The Lpr core is to help eliminate first shot drop off. Might not be needed immediatly, but its a good thing to change out shortly.

yup, you'll need an automotive valve core, and a tire valve stem removal tool. All and all under $6 total, and available at walmart and automotive stores.

valve tool and pliers do the same thing. Just dont sqeeze down on it hard. It isnt screwed in that tight. and you dont have to put it back in super tight either. I got 3 valve cores at a mechanic place free.

Now that I have three more valve vores, will I need to change them out regularly or was the stock one just bad?

Still, do you think I should change it maybe once every 6 months or something?...because I'm never going to use the other three for anything else

i havent had my gun that long but im guessing u can keep them as spares. thats what im doing with the others i have.
BTW here is a is how to adjust the trigger on The One.
There is a screw down there that you cant see. you will just see a hole stick the smaller allen wrench in there to adjust.

One thing I would really like to change is the frame. Its just plain uncomfortable. I just need a new frame that is the right dimensions to accomodate the solenoid and the circuitboard, as well as the 9 volt.

that would make it bigger.... just take measurements and design your own if you can. then get it milled. and if it goes well you can show us and maybe we'll but some. =D. Especially if we can use other grips.

I'm in the market of perhaps having a custom lightweight carbon fiber grip frame made for me. If its a go, I can have it designed to accept any standard sticky grips I want...
