if you mean detents, then no, you dont need new ones unless yours dont work anymore which i doubt
dont worry about upgrades yet just play for now

Hey I would suggest an Empire Reloader B because it is not as forcefull as the Halo B(halo b has been known to be hard on and eventually break most detents), the Empire B is also sound activated so it can handle any color paint, and finally Empire B comes stock with a rip drive witch can come in very handy. THat's just my say though if you made your mind up that you are getting a Halo and nothing but a Halo then thats fine and I wish you luck with that, otherwise I suggest Empire B

The new Victory 35 Board can not be hard on the detents either. Thats one of the major features it now has, you can set the feedrate. If you have weak detents you can put it down low, but if you want to shoot ropes of paint you can turn it up to an acclaimed 35BPS. For more info on what hopper to choosem click here . Your detents should be fine. The Dragun Forum is here .

If you get a Halo b get a check it clamp feed neck. unles you want to sand it down to fit the stock one. Anyways you dont need new detents and I dont see how it would harm the detent.
