From what ive read, the TES sounds like a great marker, but what im concerned about is that if i decide to buy one, i won't be able to upgrade it that much. i know it can use some spyder parts, but if i decide to play in tourneys eventually, what upgrades does the TES have that other markers either dont, or will make the TES just tricked out for a tourney?

you can upgrade almost everything except for the grips. Most common upgarde is the bolt and barrel(spyder barrel, timmy or dragun bolt, cocker dentent and all other parts except the feedneck are universal). To make a TES a tourney gun you will need to get "the one" kit. I have used my TES in a tourney and it works well, but you need to work out all the glitches first(leaky block, burping, not fully recocking) They are all minor fixes you just dont want to bunker a guy and have your gun not recock(happened to me but in rec play). If you can get ahold of The one and you have the money get it instead of the TES so one upgrade is out of the way.

you can get just about anything except new grips, but thats not much of a biggy. you can get regulators, barrels, feednecks, bolts, drops, asa's, HPA, Front Blocks to get LPR's,strikers, The One kit [it upgrades it past blowback, reduces kick and cycles faster] Theres a new T-Board coming out for draguns that will upgrade them to 36 bps capability. you can get new triggers, microswitches, about everything you need.

I play in tournaments. Don't need the "One Kit". Take a look at my sig. its what i use for tourney play. The only spare parts I keep just in case is extra cup seals. I also use threadlock on my pin that screws into the cupseal.

LoL....Its fun playing with this 'cause the guys on my team use, Timmy's, Dynasty Shockers & Ebladed Cockers.....the gun rips just as fast. Its not just me either 'cuase they have tested out my marker as well.....Its great and it makes good conversation with other teams passing by....

The one is better than the tes, its $60 more and infinitely better. Thats not to say that the tes is a bad gun compared to the one, but the one is certainly worth aiming for over the tes.

Tex, if you are referring to my comment about not needing the "one" for Tourney play, I meant the "One" Trigger kit to be used on the TES. And yes, if you have not purchased a TES yet, I would gravitate towards the "One".

The Dragun "The One" marker, also known as the "T1" is an open bolt, electropneumatic marker. It uses a spring returned pneumatic ram to cycle the bolt and fire the marker.

The Dragun "TES" is a blow back like ur avarage spyder. with eyes and 20bps capped board.

i bought a T1 kit and stuck it on my tesbody. i only have 2 markers right now a old black dragun. pimped out with all the stuff from my tes. and my Tes/ T1kit = t1
