I've done my research and decided to get a Spudnukl Bolt from Blair for $25. It's been 3 weeks and I have not received the bolt. At first, he asked if I wanted one with O-rings. I answered and that was 3 weeks ago. I've been repeatedly email him, but there is no response. Second, I've even tried calling his posted phone number, but no response. Just wanted to warn people. Even if he took awhile, you would think he'll be able to reply to my emails asking when is it going to be sent out. He has Ebay auctions for the bolt also, but that doesn't help either.

spudnuk'l isn't a thief, they have a lot of things goin down at that place, and times are probally hard. Dont get all mad about it, just wait and see. I ordered one awile back and its one of the best bolts i've used, others can tell you too..

I did buy a tigershark off the Internet for $12. I'm sure it'll arrive earlier than the Spudnukl one. Maybe Spudnukl isn't a thief, but when I pay for something and I get no status as to when it was sent, I don't see how you can expect me to wait more than 3 weeks. They need to know that if they told me it takes 3 weeks, I would atleast wait knowing that I'm not getting ripped off. Oh well, even if I get their bolt, I'm never buying from them again.

Spudnuk'l has a serious customer service problem. Blair Lloyd says he has the problem taken care of, and still advertises free shipping if your bolt is not delivered in 7-10 days post order. I have yet to hear of him making good on his shipping claims or his refunding of the shipping.

My personal experience -- I ordered a bolt in February and just like here, heard nothing, would not respond to e-mails, to telephone calls, and even to faxes sent to his business. So having no contact for close to 4 months, I initiated a claim against him with the better business bureau as well as filed a fraud compliant with the state attorney general's office. It was only after they brought some heat down that he sent me my bolt (with some cock and bull story of how he was doing me a favor ans sending this at his expense - I never got a refund, nor did he refund my shipping).

Certainly they make a great bolt. However, the same bolt can be had in the form of the tigershark and they have excellent customer service. Plus $17 vs. $30 is a great reason alone to get the tiger shark.

I used paypal to get mine sent by filing a complaint. Spudnuk'l bolts are really nice performance wise, but the one I have didnt really look very high quality. Fortunately, it performs nicely considering I had to wait for 2 months to get it.

2 months for a order = Bad. i would have Reported them to the BBB.

i ordered one before all this, sometime last year, it came in like 2 weeks, and it took that long, b/c they custom make each one, and they had to make another batch. i still think its one of the best bolts, and you would probally be better off looking for a used one off someone, or ebay or something..
