How reliable is the TES?
I have a 98 Custom and I'm sick of being outshot..I'm not sayin I suck b/c of it but i really would like to have a gun w/ good bps. I did the math and all the stuff i'd need on my 98 for a response trigger is gonna be a lot so i just figured i might as well just get a faster marker. It just seems crazy that a gun with and eye and 20 bps is only $200...can they be trusted and besides an egg, what other stuff should i buy with it???

They beat any gun in their price range, if you're looking at that price range, they are the only way to go. They are only so cheap because dragun as a company is no more, so the gun's are going way cheap. They are soo much better than what you pay for them. My brother has one, outshoots me anyday.

what's different about it? what are the minor upgrades? Is it basicly better just because it will have some tech support? it's $160 in a certain place.

its backlit lcd screen differnent settings and accesories on the board like differnet modes, rate of fire its recharchable so it has how much charge is left and in a day i shot over 4 boxes through it on one charge, so it holds up well its easy to put in tourny mode with a jumper, rubber black grips instead of the old hard ones and most come with an odyssey delrin bolt, and backed by support since dragun went belly up and its not like they had any before that, some other nice guns are the new diablos for the price range, all pneumatic like the t1 http://www.diablodirect.com/wrath.asp i have heard it is odyssey and diablo together but im sure they look pretty nice though

That, and the <sarcasm>minor</sarcasm> difference between a blowback and an electropneumatic...
TESs are great entry/intermediate level tournament guns. I've had many people impressed with how fast I could rip on mine- they refused to believe it was a spyder clone. The only major setbacks I can come up with is the incompatability of parts- they use metric screws, no aftermarket grips fit, and the odd sized air fittings. Other than that, it's a great investment- you'll really get your money's worth out of this one.
