2004 Freeflow Trauma Matrix
By: 1337PAINTBALLER
Specs -
2004 Freeflow Trauma Matrix
Orange/Black Acid Wash Anno
Tadao 4.0
Sidewinder
Freeflow Bolt Kit
PBC LPR
CP Roller Trigger
Dye Sticky3 Grips
CCM No-Rise
Stock Barrel
Matience -
Matience is pretty simple once you get the hang of it. You must take apart the bolt kit, lube it and replace any bad o-rings, re assemble, lube the reg and lpr and also replace any bad o-rings if needed. Readjust the regulater, eliminate any shootdown, and off to play.
I only use Slicky Honey in any Matrix and it works wonders. The only lube I recomend for a Matrix is Slick Honey, but Dow33, Matrix Muck, Dye lube, and others will work as well.
Reliability -
The gun has worked 2 different days being used all day with about 2 cases. Gun shot fine with no shootdown and had no problems whatsoever. After the day was over the LPR started to leak but it just needs a rebuild and some relubing. All in all they are reliable if you take the right care of them.
Consistancy -
One of the most consistant guns I've shot. +/- 2,3 over the chrono, no shootdown, and wasn't starved for any air.
Efficency -
Shot a case, got 2 fills the whole day. Gun is pretty efficent.
Speed -
Gun ripped straight ropes. Hit 19 on the chrono just messing around and was ripping on the field. Gun is stupid fast, which I like.
Accuracy -
Every ball was right behind each other. The accuracy was amazing, one of the most accurate guns I've shot. Although when running low on air the accuracy wasn't too great at all.
Weight -
The gun is heavy, that's all there is too it.
Looks -
The Trauma milling is amazing looking and the anno is beautiful, this is the sexiest Matrix I have ever seen.
Pros:
Fast
Accurate
Efficent
Consistant
Reliable
Very hott looking
Cons:
Heavy
Hard matience
Easy to screw something up

Trauma Matrix
I bought this on ebay in the fall of 2004, it had an orange/black acid wash and is now nick's(l337paintballer).
Specs: Tadao 4, FF bolt kit, CP trigger, sidewinder reg, Dye Ultralite, and other small ups.
Pros: Fast, tadao was simple and easy to use, nice and uniform annodizing job, efficent for a matrix, quiet, freeflow lifetime warrenty, and ergonomic
Cons: gas hog, heavy(light for a trix), not produced anymore(parts are still avaliable).

dm5
By:freddieb321@hot
Specs:
sticky3 grips
mushashi 3-tadao
stiffi 14 inch barrel
no rise
whatever else the gun has
edit***:jsut got a cp, so i should shoot faster now, not to say always 21, but i should hit 21 every once and a while, at least more often. so ya
Maintenance:
Really really easy if you are used to the gun. You always have to clean it at the end of the day as with all other high end guns, and ALWAYS LUBE THE BOLT!!! I still use dye lube, because I have never once had a problem with it. Also, be sure to clean the eyes, prefferably with a keyboard compressed air canister.
Reliability:Never had it break on me ever, never chopped one ball, never had shootdown. I have put probably 30 cases through this and NEVER CHOPPED ONCE!!! 60,000 shots and not one chop, just thought id repeat it a third time.
Consistancy:It was off by 5 one time, never happened again.
Efficiancy:With my evolve, i can get upwards of 1500 shots, with my LPR AT 3 turns and my dwell set at 14. I usually shoot at around 270 fps, which I reccomend for all Matrix owners.
Speed:I have hit 21 bps sound tested, no bounce, or ramping or anything, just straight up semi.
Accuracy:I have never shot a more accurate gun plain and simple.
Weight:I think that this gun compared to high end guns is a liiiiitttttttllllleeee on the heavy side, but compared to all guns it is moderately light. Get a proto if you care about two ounces.
Looka:This gun is very sleak looking, while still looking sexy!!!
Pros:Same as above-Fast
Accurate
Efficent
Consistant
Reliable
Very hott looking
Cons:A little heavy, and theres a nasty rumor that its not consistant, which it is, the con is the rumor lol.

Consistancy -
+/- 2,3.
Efficency -

I thought that it would not be as accurate as my cocker. i was wrong.

By: Luis
