i was wondering about how to get my dm4 more consistent, and also what is the little screw hole by the barrel and on/off.thanks.

try playing with your reg pressure or reoiling it, also I'm gonna assume you have a low pressure tank, if you don't then your probably gonna be inconsistent until your valve breaks.

The hyper 2 takes about 2 1/2 cases to break in almost completly. Dont worry about the tank output, both work great.

Try relubing your hyper 2, and bolt. Maybe up you LPR if it is too low, figure out how to do that by searching.

Almost positive that little screw is an air chamber plug. (I don't own a DM4, but I do have a Gen-E) The same purpose of the right side tube on a DM3.

consistency keys are:
good paint/bore match and consistant paint
clean your regs and lube bolt correctly
keep lpr a little higher than usual

for your lpr, unscrew it all the way so no air goes into the gun
do the same with your inline reg
Screw in your lpr until the marker starts to fire, then screw it in one more time
then adjust your inline reg as needed for fps.
