From what i hear the main thing that seperates the PMR and the PM7 is that the PM7 has a LPR. Is the LPR really worth the extra $500? And can you get a LPR for the PMR?

The pmr doesn't need an LPR because of the way it works. Saying that the pmr is a pm7 without an lpr is stupid because they are totally different. The pmr bolt assembly is a nockoff of an ion bolt assembly (at least it looks like it).
Well, add on to that fact that about half of the gun has been made of plastic and it's basically true.
When paying the extra 500 for the PM7, you're paying for all metal parts along with the LPR.
No, there isn't one available as of now, and there probably won't be one but I could be wrong.
yes but most of those things are replacable by a metal upgrade. And even that wouldn't even come close to $500. The question is: Is a LPR (and a couple of metal parts) worth $500?

Did you skip over my post or something? An LPR isn't their only difference. They are totally different guns. The way the pm7s bolt works requires an LPR...the way the PMR works is why it doesn't need an LPR. The PMR bolt assembly is insanely close to an ions bolt assembly. And ions don't have LPRs..

Is it? Well, it must be to some people since the PM7 is being bought, it's not discontinued or anything... it comes down to the LPR, the looks (most people prefer the look of a PM7 to PMR from what I've heard), and the prestige of having a high end gun; the plastic parts don't count as they can be replaced.
PM7's and the (PM6 and PM5 for that matter) will shoot a bit better than PMR's no matter what upgrades you throw on a PMR. So the difference is more like $500- whatever the cost to make it all metal, I'm guessing something like $250.
So is the LPR, looks, and prestige worth $250? That all depends on what you want.

An LPR, FUSE Bolt, Metal Parts, On/Off ASA, Quality Control, and Smoother Operation and the ability to tune is worth $500.
