pmr barrel question

First of all this is my first post here. My question concerns my barrel for my rail. i have three other markers and all of them use an O ring on there barrels, I noticed that my rail's barrel dont have one. Shouldnt there be an O ring on it?

Yeah, the only ones that uses orings are cheaper gun. Any aftermarket barrel or higher end gun's barrel wont have orings.

Higher end barrels do have orings. For example, the stock ego barrel has two orings, one between the front and back, and one between the back and the breech. That also goes the same for the freak barrels.

To answer your question, if there is a small gap between the threads and the actual barrel than yes it could take one, but I do not believe they are 100% necessary.

I did misspeak about my freak, it does not have an o-ring on the back. You said any high end barrel will not have o-rings, I named two that did no matter the placement of them.

the O-ring might prevent tearage and increase the life of your threads but...honestly, its not worth it.
